Leads prices are getting too high

I really dont understand what your algorithm does to decide how much a lead is worth. For more or less the same job I've seen prices from $13, up to $22.
Today for a job that was quoted as $200 I was charged $22. And the same job was sent to 3 other pros. So you are charging me 11% of the jobs worth, and I only have a 25% chance of actually getting the job. If you sent the lead to me and only me, maybe charging 11% of the jobs worth would be fair. But charging that much and there's no guarantee I will get the job...in fact the odds are I WONT get the job. That is just way too high.
Let's be generous and assume for some reason I get selected more often, let's say I get 1 out of 3 jobs even when there's 4 pros who respond. That means for every $200 job I get, I've paid $66, or 33% of the value of the job. So my $200 job is now actually just a $134 job. It's not really worth it at that point.
The only way these numbers work out for me is if that lead turns into a repeat customer. But many of my clients are one time deals. Some of them do turn into repeat business, and in that case if I wound up paying $66 in total, it's not so bad. But for one time clients, it's a total waste of money. And again that assumes I get slightly better than average results. If I were to get selected 1 out 4 times, the lead price becomes $88 or almost half the value of the job.
So I think TT needs to figure out a way to determine if a lead is going to be a repeat customer or not, otherwise your pricing is no longer worth the service you provide.
