What is the refund policy for a lead that never reads/responds to anything?
I have a lead that only contacted me. I've messaged him twice and texted him and he hasn't read or responded to anything.
What can I do about that?
Good luck in this case, I have had many of these situations and the response from Thumbtack is "You have their phone number, so it is a valid lead". You can always request a refund, and in some cases they may give you a "courtesy" refund, meaning even though they may not believe it to be a dead lead, they will do it for you in good faith.
