Advice To Businesses Getting Less Views

As a business owner who has been dealing with significantly less leads and views since the new Max Lead System ThumbTack now uses, I would like to make a recommendation to help other fellow pros.
To give a little context, my business typically ranks at # 2-3 locally on TT, but since this has taken effect we get about 60% less views every month and less leads, as other pros can now pay to be a higher rank then pros with more hires/reviews/higher rating.
I know TT implemented this to help new pros get bookings, but it can be frustrating for business owners like myself, and others who have put the work in and are vetted on the platform, and it can make growth plateau.
For Reference, we currently have:
283 hires
4.9 rating
111 reviews
Fast response time
To combat this issue, we have started having a few clients every week who hired us from TT leave a review for us on Google rather than on our TT profile, and it’s helped us go from the 5-6th page on Google, to number 3 on the 1st page of local cleaning businesses in just a few months.
It’s also helped us to be more self reliant and not have all our eggs in one basket. We are able to fill our schedule organically without having a week of low bookings, and without paying for leads.
Its undeniable how great Thumbtack can be for helping small businesses owners and I recommend it to all of my entrepreneur friends, but I say this to help others like myself who want to scale there business and continue to grow, increase revenue each month, and hire more employees.
If I could give one piece of advice to a business owner looking to scale there business and to be successful, it would be to build a solid profile on Thumbtack with great reviews and a great rating, and then focus on having some of your clients leave reviews on google each week, and building your Google My Business Profile, which will in return help you get a lot of business for free, and should be the long term goal for service business owners.
Thumbtack should be one of your many marketing tools in your tool belt, not your only one.
I hope this can be of some help to someone!
