Doing a end of the year calculation on leads that I pay for and did not get hired for

Everyone should do a calculation on all the leads that they pay for but didn’t get hire, plus the leads they decline and still get charge for.

It's always a great idea to track your ROI on any investment in your business (should be tracking the leads you paid for and won and the jobs that came from those, as well) — thank you for the advice for your fellow pros!

I think of the cost of leads as an advertising expense. So far, it is a good ROI for me. For example if I get 1 job out of 5-6 leads and have spent $125.00 on leads for the month and the job is $250.00 or $400.00 per month ongoing or a $1500.00 installation then the lead cost is worth it!
