Why is this refund denied

Customer posts in the structural engineering category, but when I speak to him, he's looking for a contractor. I'm not a contractor, so I shouldn't have to pay for this.

    @structuralguy65 as mentioned previously, we cannot help with refunds in the Community. But, you can now dispute refund request denials by emailing refunddisputes@thumbtack.com - hope this helps!

    Trying to dispute a refund denial and going to refunddisputes@thumbtack.com and it brings me right back here to this page! Very frustrating when I’m being charged for leads that say they are an exact match but because the customer doesn’t understand the difference in a repair and a replacement I’m denied a refund. It would be great if I could get some straight answers instead of a runaround! Can anyone help?

    I called Thumbtack customer service and the recording said to reach out to refunddisputes@thumbtack.com. That brought me here. It doesn’t say to email. A little confusing. I’ve emailed my concerns. Thank you
