Lack of Thunbtack Support and refund policy

I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in your customer service and refund policy.

I am justified in saying that I will pay for leads where I can actually perform the job.

I am being denied my refund requests for charges that do NOT fit my job description.

My job description is clear, I do full shower replacements from existing shower spaces only.

Why do I keep getting charged for people who want to get their shower fixtures replaced or add a door?! 


I wanted to try this out and have successfully gotten sales for the jobs I CAN do but now I had to temporarily hide my page to stop getting the wrong charges.

If thumbtack will not do the right thing and make things right, I will just take my business elsewhere. 

This isn’t a difficult or complicated ask.

Can I not receive a call from higher up?!  Is that not something thumbtack does?

I have been trying to ‘verbally’ speak to someone for weeks now.

    @Bmosely I'm so sorry to hear about the frustration. I wanted to take a look at your account settings to see if I could help with anything, but since your business is hidden I am not able to look at your preferences. Just in case there is something you haven't tried, re: Support, here is an article with all of the Support information.

    If you want to send me the customers' names where the jobs were outside your preferences and the refund was denied I am happy to take a look and see if I can help (but your business will need to be unhidden in order for me to look).

    Hi,

    I Had to hide my page temporarily because I continue to be charged for leads not in my job description and not being refunded for it.

    I will absolutely pay for leads that match my job description but I do not want to continue throwing away money when I never had the chance. 

    My job description is clear. Could another area be added that says shower replacements and installations where existing showers are?

    Because clearly replacing fixtures and installing shower doors should be separate options. 

    That's 2 separate customers.
