I wanted to take a moment to recognize our active Community members who have achieved platinum status in Thumbtack Pro Rewards. (Tagged below)

    For me, it was installing the Pro app because text messages weren't getting to me as timely. Made all the difference. Also, be strict with your Preferences. It is better for me to lose a few potential couples than more than a few marketing dollars!

    Thank you @DustiO and Thumbtack! 🙏🏽 I honestly believe that Thumbtack support has been critical to the presentation of my profile on the platform. I would love to see more pricing options for certified music teachers who present their fees in a tuition-based format. For example, a lot of us are competitive teachers (we teach students to perform at the highest level!), and we don't want someone who just wants to think of our service as "per lesson." Not sure if that helps, but for me that would be rewarding because then I would get better leads! 😆 I really like the Thumbtack and BootCamp webinars too, and it would help to have one that features how to get into the customer's mindset like what @Meridith_Alexander1 mentioned! 😎 Thank you again!

  • @DustiO Happy Tuesday! I have a ques-ggetion (suggestion in the form of a question). Why arent our profiles connected to our Pro pages?? I wanted to view @Meridith_Alexander1 's page/video and see the pricing pigeonhole @Mage referenced but when I clicked their name a link to their respective pages isn't on the profile :-/

    Can this be considered?

    @HBTCWed_Lakela This is something that we are considering - as it was a feature on our previous Community platform! Hopefully in the future we can get that implemented, because I agree, it would be really useful!

  • Thanks @DustiO ! Love Thumbtack! The biggest advice I have is to be consistent, respond to leads as soon as you can, keep working on your profile. It takes some time so if you aren't getting the results you want now, just keep being consistent and it will improve! Also reach out to customer service cuz they will help you. They helped me a lot to learn how to get my profile set up and optimized. Thanks everybody!!

    @DustiO ...as always thanks for thinking of me as someone who can contribute to these types of conversations. I cannot stress enough the importance of being extremely pro-active with leads. I am fortunate enough to be part of the auto-reply program so Thumbtack does the initial response for me which for my industry is a huge help. The last thing I have time for as a home organizer and move management specialist is to stop in the middle of a job and respond to leads. I do, though, always follow up ASAP with a direct text. I think my conversion rate is around 85-90% at this point which I am very proud of but I hustled hard in the beginning to get to Platinum status and have been very consistent ever since. I also try to get reviews from every client whether they found my company on Thumbtack or not. It helps so much with your SEO which means you are that much more visible both inside and outside of the Thumbtack platform. I haven't received any swag to date but honestly that isn't my motivation. Bottom line, thanks as always for continuing to support us as Pros...it really has been such a game changer for me in the past 18 months.
